Light and Information When You Need Them Most! This dynamite duo gives you two failsafe essentials to get you through any power failure. Top-of-the-line combo includes two of Freeplay's best: the Freeplay Sherpa Wind-up Torch and a special edition of the Freeplay EyeMax AM/FM LED Radio with the addition of the NOAA Weather Band. The Freeplay EyeMax Radio runs for 35 minutes after just 30 seconds of winding, or for 25 HOURS when fully charged. It can also be charged with the built in solar panel and even has a built-in LED flashlight. The super-bright Sherpa flashlight has a dual intensity Xenon bulb, with high beam and normal beam lighting modes. In normal mode, the beam shines for up to 20 hours when fully charged. Both units use NiMH battery power packs and can be charged conventionally using the included AC adapter. Built to last!

Very Good!

I LOVE my Freeplay radio and flashlight. The light from the flashlight is bright and widespread without any circles, and it feels very comfortable in my hand, so it's easy to crank. The radio picks up a lot of stations and they come in very clearly. I especially like the weather band when there's threatening weather. I like to use the radio in the yard because I can carry it with me as I move around instead of having a radio blasting from the back porch so I can hear it at the back of the yard. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate that. I like the fact that you can use the crank or plug them in to charge. I especially like the fact that I can leave the flashlight on all night as a nightlight during a power outage and not feel like I'm wasting batteries. I wish I'd had this set when the power was out for four days last winter. Four stars because the light on the radio doesn't stay charged. They might as well not have even included it.
